Lawbreed Limited was incorporated on January, 17th 1994 as a law publishing outfit. It however did not start actual publishing, until September, 1999 when it published (1999) 1 S. C. having been granted permission by the Supreme Court as per letter dated 28th January, 1999, to take over the publication of the report, which had hitherto gone off the shelves since July 1988.
Since then, the company has published One hundred and Twenty-Five Editions covering 1988, 1989, 1990, 1998, 1999, 2000, 20001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and as of date Indexes covering 1989, 19998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004. Reprint of 1972-1982 judgments of the S.C. complete with Index has been published. The judgment delivered in 2005 are being published as current judgment.

The company in order to focus mainly on publishing has ceded the sales of its publications to Lawbreed Marketing Company, which is directly responsible for the sales of its publications. Both the publishing and marketing outfits has over thirty seven (37) staff in its employ nationwide, either directly or indirectly.
As of recent, the Lawbreed press has been added to the Law Publishing
